We will be working on Ellys Frog, with a cutwork frame, for two months. A cute block of Fancy Applique with ultra suede, silk ribbon, embroidery and beaded berries.

For the final class, we will work on blocks with birds. Several different patterns are available to choose from in an Elly Sienkiewicz book. With embellishment, fancy fabrics, and beads, this is a beauty.

This quilt is a combination of simple piecing and amazing applique designs. Students will be able to use their favorite applique techniques which will be taught each month.

Each month we will construct a section of the beautiful quilt. A variety of piecing techniques will be taught along the way. The finished quilt is a stunning King size that will be stunning on any bed.

This is a continuation of "Imagery in Felt" part 2.You will learn how to needle felt, adding texture and dimension, even a little sparkle if desired to your felted piece that from first class. Be sure to bring your felted piece with you.

Sandra will teach you all you need to know to be successful at Thread Painting. She will have an ample supply of threads for you to use in class. You can choose your own design and create a one of a kind art piece. The two day class allows plenty of time to understand the technique and get your project to completion. Thread Painting is a technique where the artist prints a photograph onto a piece of fabric, and stitches by machine using free motion (feed dogs dropped, and a darning foot on the machine) over the image so that the image is - usually - completely covered in thread.

Encaustic means to burn in in Latin and is the process of painting with beeswax that is melted and fused to a hard surface, with and without pigments added. This ancient art form is seeing a resurgence of appeal because of its unique look, texture, compatibility with other mediums, and mixed media applications.

This class will teach the sewing basics of sewing skills needed to make a variety of projects. Children can work at their own pace and on a project of their choice. First Project is a pillowcase. I will suggest projects that are within a students level of sewing but the student and parent can choose. Class fees are prepaid the month before. There is a max of 4 students in class.

Each month this group gets together and we hand stitch on our projects. You can bring in any project you want to do and Anelie will help you with marking the design onto the fabric, show you the stitches the project calls for and any other help you need.

This quilt has a wonderful balance of applique and traditional piecing. BirD Walk quilt pattern includes full color instructions and diagrams to create paper-pieced, applique and pieced blocks. This quilt provides many quilting techniques we will learn along the way. Finished size 50 inches X 66 inches.

This class will teach you how to put those oils to good use! We will learn how to make roller bottle mixes, spray bottle mixes, diffuser recipes for several uses, using carrier oils and how to even digest essential oils. We will be covering the following areas: Help with Sleep, Emotional Balance, Immune System support, Boosting Energy and Fresh Air Scents. Students will use their oils and can choose 3 of these recipes to make and take home. Price of class includes bottles, recipes, carrier oils and capsules.

Each month we will explore another block and learn a new piecing method. This quilt is so adorable and the blocks can go together as a finished quilt or you can make wall hangings, pot holders, pillows and more. So adorable you will want to make them all!

If you have a project you want to sew and need some guidance in knowing how to do it, this is the class for you. Each student works on a project of their own choice. You can also bring in a garment you may need to have help with alterations. If you want to sew for your home, a pillow, curtains, pillow cases or anything else this is a class you can do it in!

Felt is the oldest textile known to man. Felt is an incredible fabric, natural, ecofriendly, warm, breathable, soft, malleable and naturally antimicrobial. In this class you'll learn the basics of wet felting - combining warm water, soap and a little elbow grease with dyed wool fiber to make felt. This workshop is an opportunity to PLAY with fiber and color to create your image of your choosing. Either a wall hanging or a cover for a journal. Please bring a bag lunch with you,.
