Mini Fused Landscape Class

  1. Supply List:
Sandra will bring lots of hand dyed and batik scraps of fabrics, as well as some hand dyed pieces of cheesecloth to use in class, you can bring in some of your own as well.  If you are working from your own color photo, choose fabric pieces which similar in color and value to what you see in the photo.  Scraps or small pieces are usually fine.

You will need a muslin  or similar ground fabric at least 10” square to build your piece on, and a small piece of batting and backing fabric.

Misty fuse fusible web (Sandra has this for sale at the class for $3.20 per yard).  1 yard or so.

Scissors for paper and fabric, and a small pair of snips to use while sewing

    Freezer paper, 1/2 yard

Lighbox if you own one—you may borrow one of mine in class

    A small travel iron

    An ironing mat

Parchment paper (I recommend Reynold’s brand, usually in the baking aisle at the grocery store).

Sewing machine, clean and in good working order, with a free motion darning foot, size 70 or 75 needles.

Thread—I will bring extra thread for topstitching, I recommend you bring bobbin thread or cotton thread for the bobbin, and any other color thread you wish to use on the top.
